QwikPark uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to detect your car. These cameras are over 99% accurate, but sometimes they can misread or simply fail to see your car registration plate (due to dirt, snow, etc.). 


  • When you arrive, if the barrier does not lift, press the button and take a ticket to gain access.
  • If you take a ticket and still have an active session in the app, you can discard the ticket.
  • If you do not have an active session in the app, please use your ticket or number plate to make payment at any machine as usual before leaving.
  • If you have an active session but the exit barrier does not open, please do not pay with the ticket; press the help button and let the local team know you are using QwikPark.
  • If you use a season pass, permit, or staff whitelist, please contact the local parking team via any help point on a payment machine or at entry or exit, and they can validate your parking at the discounted rates. 


Important notes:


  • If your payment card has expired or you do not have one added, you will not be able to access the car park with QwikPark.
  • If you have any outstanding payments on your account, access may be restricted. You will need to process these before the account is cleared.
  • Some passes have time restrictions when they can be used, so be sure to check this, as your current pass may not be valid when you arrive.
  • If you have a season pass, please refer to your pass terms and conditions, as you may not need to pay if you are using a monthly permit. Making payments within the car park cannot be refunded if stated in your pass terms.
