QwikPark uses the car parks built in Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to detect your car. Although these cameras are over 99% accurate, sometimes the cameras can either misread or simply cannot see your car registration plate (because of dirt, snow etc). 


When you arrive at the car park, if the barrier does not raise automatically raise, you can either press the button and take a ticket or backup (if safe to do so), and try another lane. If you take a ticket and are entitled to receive a special rate or discount, you will need to speak to the local parking team who will be able to assist you. You can also inform them, or us, of any issues with the ANPR cameras so we can ensure it's fixed for your next visit.


Some passes also have time restrictions for when they can be used, so be sure to check this as it may be that your current pass is not available to be used at the time you have arrived. 


Please note, if your payment card has expired or you do not have one added, you will not be able to access the car park with QwikPark.
