When adding a vehicle, you may be told that the registration is already associated with another user. This can be for a number of reasons, such as:
- The current user has sold the car but has not removed the details from their account.
- A user has added incorrect details to their account.
- You are trying to share the vehicle with another user (see below).
You cannot transfer a vehicle if it is currently in use and has an active session in a car park.
Please note:
- Vehicles can currently be registered to only one QwikPark account, as the app does not know who is driving at the time of entry.
- If you try to register a vehicle that is already parked or using a car park, you will receive an error message that the vehicle cannot currently be transferred.
If you share a vehicle, you can both download the app and use the same login / shared login details, which will enable both users to be logged in on separate devices. This way, you will both get the same notifications when a session starts.
If you try to register a vehicle that is already taken, you will be given the option to transfer the vehicle details to your account:
