If you regularly shop at stores like Sainsbury's and Waitrose or use a gym, cinema, or similar places that offer discounted or free parking, you can also enjoy the same discounts when using the QwikPark app.
Most stores, gyms, etc., use two different discount validation methods: one for the pay machines in the car park (either a till receipt or a printed validation code), and the other for QwikPark users.
The QR codes for QwikPark look like the example below and are located at each till when you pay in-store, at the customer services desk, reception, or in the same place you would get the printed validation code. The store staff can also advise you of where these are located:
To apply a discount:
- Park and ensure your session has started.
- Open the QwikPark app and tap Add Discount from the homepage.
- Tap the QR Code Scanner icon and point your camera at the store's QwikPark QR code (located at tills, reception, or customer services desks).
- The discount will be applied immediately and shown on the session page — no need to use the pay machines.
